Doris Neubauer
After studying corporate communications, my first career was in marketing and communications of For- and Non-Profit-Organisations in Vienna, Austria. My itchy feet led me to my second career in writing: I became a journalist and blogger for travel magazines and websites, and had my own travel blog for 2 years. Rather than focusing on 5-star-hotels and itinerary, my main interests were in the people, culture and how they changed the world for the better. Since 2016, I have been based in Aotearoa New Zealand where - after sailing around the North Island and living in a van for 3 years - my partner and I are developing an off-grid property in the Bay of Plenty. From here, I write about topics dear to my heart: travel, health, environment, AI/ digital, the New Way of Work, mobility and energy.
